Affordable Irrigation

About Affordable Irrigation

Peña Blanca has long lived by water, with the Rio Grande sliding past below the old fields and the ditches carrying it out to orchards, gardens and pasture once the season opens in spring. Affordable Irrigation works in that same spirit on a household scale, getting water to the lawn and the garden where it belongs and nowhere it doesn't. In a dry country, the hiss of a sprinkler waking at dawn or a drip line darkening the soil under a young tree is its own kind of music. Lines are laid, heads are set, and each zone is tuned so every part of the yard drinks what it needs. Here, where every drop has a history, getting the water right is a way of honoring the river.
