March in the Rio Abajo is mostly wind — days of it, carrying sand off the mesa and pinning everything against the fences. Then it stops, and the valley greens up almost overnight. Worldstar Landscaping meets that turn with the first mow of the year, the winter debris cleared, the edges cut back in against gravel and walk. From there it's weekly through a long Peralta growing season, trimming close and hauling off what's cut. A lawn only looks effortless when somebody has been out there all spring.
