HMS Landscapes

About HMS Landscapes

Out on the Lordsburg playa the wind writes in the dust and freight trains pass like a slow rumor, and a green lawn in that country is nobody's accident. HMS Landscapes tends the ones that exist, mowing on a regular round, trimming close along fences, foundations and stone margins, and running the border tight where turf gives way to gravel. Debris blows in constantly under the Pyramid Mountains, so clearing it off the grass is part of every visit rather than a special occasion. Summer here is fierce and the light lasts forever, which makes an even, tended yard read like an oasis from the highway. That contrast is the whole reward.
