About The Lawn Company

Bermuda grass sleeps hard through a Las Cruces winter and then, sometime in May, wakes all at once — brown one week, solid green the next, growing faster than anybody expects. The Lawn Company builds its year around that switch. Once the grass turns, the mower comes weekly, the edges get reset along walks and drives, the trimmer catches the fence lines, and the clippings go with the truck. Kept on that cadence a lawn holds its color right through the hottest stretch of the valley summer. It is repetitive work, and the repetition is exactly the point.
