About Green Lizard, LLC

The Organ Mountains take the first light before Las Cruces does, their spires going rose and then gold while the valley below is still blue and cool. That is the hour Green Lizard, LLC likes best for mowing, when the grass still holds a little of the night and the heat has not yet stacked up over the Mesilla Valley. Lawn care under three hundred days of sun is a long conversation with that sun, and the answer is a level cut, an edge run true along the walk, and every clipping blown off the concrete and carried away. By mid-morning a yard is left looking pressed flat and even, the kind of finish you notice from the street without knowing why. Week after week the route comes back around, through the hot climb of summer and out the far side, until evening light softens again toward Baylor Canyon.
