Northwind Yard

About Northwind Yard

When the wind swings around to the north in Jal it comes across a hundred flat miles with nothing to slow it, and everybody in Lea County knows the sound. Northwind Yard works with that instead of against it — mowing and edging on the calm mornings, cleaning up after the blows, keeping grass short enough to hold its own. Trimming along drives and fence lines is what separates a maintained yard from one that has merely been mowed, and out here the difference shows. Summers run long and bright, and the growing stretch stays open for months if the water holds. From Jal up toward Eunice the goal never moves: a lawn that holds an even cut and a firm line all season.
