About Vernon Hamilton Construction Company

In February the Rio Puerco wash below Gallup runs thin and cold, and the yards along it are still dormant, waiting. Vernon Hamilton Construction Company takes on lawn care through the whole turn of the year, starting with the cleanup that clears winter debris off dormant grass. Once the ground wakes, the routine settles in: mowing, trimming, edging, clippings carried away. There is something plainly good about the first cut of the year, the smell of it, the way a yard suddenly looks awake. Every pass after that keeps the line between lawn and everything else exactly where it belongs.
