About High Desert Cycles

At dusk the old neon along Route 66 comes on over Coal Avenue, and the heat lets go of the sidewalks all at once. High Desert Cycles takes lawn care around downtown Gallup and the streets that run off it, mowing, edging, trimming and clearing the cuttings away. Downtown yards are small and awkward, cut up by walls, walks and gravel, which makes a tidy finish more a matter of patience than horsepower. Done right, the grass ends exactly where it should and nothing spills over the concrete. The last pass of a summer evening, with the light going purple over the western hills, is a good way to close a working day.
