Gallup Pumping Service

About Gallup Pumping Service

July turns the sky over Gallup into a daily event: clouds stack up over the mesas by noon, and by three the arroyos are running brown. Gallup Pumping Service mows, trims and edges between those storms, working the dry hours when the grass has dried enough to cut right. Monsoon rain makes a lawn grow faster here than in any other stretch of the year, so the schedule tightens and the passes come closer together. A yard cut on the right afternoon looks the way this country rarely lets a yard look, dense and level and deeply green. The clippings leave with the crew, and the walks get cleared back to their own edges.
