About 20 X Excavation Inc

First light in Gallup arrives sideways, off the red sandstone walls east of town, and the grass is still cold when the day's first pass begins. 20 X Excavation takes on lawn care across Gallup's neighborhoods, mowing, trimming, edging and hauling off what the cut leaves behind. At six and a half thousand feet the growing weeks are short and worth using well, so the work runs early, before the day's heat stands up off the pavement. A yard finished by mid-morning holds its shape: lines even, borders defined, walkways swept back to bare concrete. It is plain work done carefully, in a town where the ground gives nothing away for free.
