About Scratching the Earth Landscaping LLC

Nothing smells like this country right after rain: wet sandstone off the red bluffs, dust settling out of the air, everything a shade darker for an hour. Scratching the Earth Landscaping LLC works close to that ground in Farmington, where the dirt runs sandy and alkaline and a green lawn is something you build rather than something you find. The work is steady and physical, with mowing on a regular rhythm, edging the boundary between grass and gravel until it reads like a drawn line, trimming what the mower cannot reach, and taking the clippings and yard debris along when they go. Do that week over week and a yard starts to look intentional instead of accidental. That is the result worth chasing here.
