About AU Lawns and Landscaping
Farmington's year really begins when the ditches run — the laterals fill through the Animas Valley and brown yards remember what they are. AU Lawns and Landscaping meets that turn with the first mow of the season, the one that takes the winter dullness off and leaves stripes behind. Through the warm months the work is steady: mowing, cutting the borders, trimming the fence corners, keeping beds tidy so plantings read on purpose. A lawn watered by ditch water and cut on a schedule holds a green that nothing else quite imitates. Standing at the gate afterward with the water still moving is most of the point.
