About ABC Sweeping & Landscaping

Every spring blow lays a fine skin of sand across the lots along Main Street, and somebody has to move it. ABC Sweeping & Landscaping runs the sweeping in the small hours, when the Animas bridge is empty and the pavement comes back a shade darker than it went in. Daylight belongs to the green side of the work — mowing, bed cleanup, shrubs kept back off the sidewalk, borders re-cut where the season blurred them. A lot that reads swept and a strip of turf that reads cut are the same idea said twice. By the time the first cars turn in, the place looks like it decided to.
