About Caros General Works

In El Valle de Arroyo Seco the water is mostly a rumor — a sandy channel that stays quiet eleven months of the year and then runs hard for an hour in August. Caros General Works handles the yards in between, where the grass comes up fast after a storm and needs cutting while the getting is good. Mowing, edging and trimming here mean reading ground that is half high-plains grass and half piñon shade, and giving each part what it asks for. The payoff is the line a mower leaves across a San Miguel County yard at evening, straight as the fence beside it, with the Sangre de Cristo foothills going blue behind. Cleanups come around with the turning year, and the place is left looking cared for from the road.
