About Gecko Landscaping Inc.

Spring in Taos arrives with the acequias, when the ditches run again and the whole valley remembers what green looks like. Gecko Landscaping Inc. opens its season the same way, raking winter out of the corners, pulling the dead thatch loose and taking the first cut of the year down clean. Through the warm months it is steady mowing, trimming around fence posts and orchard trunks, recutting the bed edges and hauling the yard waste off. There is a real satisfaction in the last pass of the mower, when a whole yard resolves into one unbroken sweep of color under that enormous northern New Mexico sky. Gecko Landscaping Inc. tends lawns in Taos and the small places gathered around it.
