20 Trees Landscape

About 20 Trees Landscape

First light in Deming reaches the Florida Mountains before it reaches town, and for a few minutes the whole range stands up pink out of the flat. 20 Trees Landscape is usually rolling by then, out to the yards and orchard lanes where the work is mowing, trimming, edging and shaping the planted ground around a house. In the Mimbres Valley shade is currency and grass is a decision, so every green yard here is somebody's ongoing project. Finishing one — cut even, borders sharp, clippings gone — is the part worth getting up early for.
