Thrifty Dobson Lawncare

About Thrifty Dobson Lawncare

Clovis keeps time by freight. The yard on the north side never fully sleeps, and on an October night you can hear the horns carry clear across town while the cottonwoods let go of everything at once. Thrifty Dobson Lawncare shows up for that part of the year — leaves raked and blown out of the beds and off the rock, the last cuts of the season taken low, gutled fence corners cleared, and the whole load hauled away instead of stacked at the curb. The rest of the calendar is mowing, edging and trimming on a schedule a homeowner does not have to think about. A yard put to bed properly in the fall comes back easier in April, and there is a quiet pride in handing one over that way — swept down to bare grass, with the wind finding nothing left to scatter.
