Phil's Landscaping Co & Nursery

About Phil's Landscaping Co & Nursery

February in Carlsbad is deceptive — sixty-five degrees and still, the pecans bare, the ground just beginning to wake. It is planting weather, and it is Phil's Landscaping Co & Nursery weather: choosing plants that genuinely want to live here, desert willow and vitex and sage, and getting them in before the wind month arrives. Alongside the nursery side runs the ordinary, essential upkeep — mowing, edging, shrub trimming, bed maintenance, seasonal cleanups, and planting plans suited to a valley where water is the entire conversation. A yard put together with the right plants asks less of everyone every year after. That is the long game, and it starts on a mild afternoon in late winter.
