About mad dog tree and lawn llc

Late summer, the storms stack up over the Guadalupes and come across the Chihuahuan flats sideways, and by morning there are limbs down and mesquite leaning where it has no business leaning. That is the work: mad dog tree and lawn llc trims and prunes trees around Carlsbad, takes out what is dead or hazardous, clears the limbs and brush, then mows and edges the yard underneath until nothing reads like a storm came through. A shade tree earns its keep in this country — every foot of canopy over a Carlsbad lot is bought with water and patience — so it gets cut with an eye on what it should look like in five years, not just this afternoon. Ocotillo can fend for itself; a pecan or an elm on a town street wants somebody up in the crown with a plan. When the mower has gone through and the edges come up crisp along the drive, the whole place stands a little taller from the road.
