About Will Jarvis & Son

The first mowing of the day usually happens in the early quiet, before the street is fully awake. Will Jarvis & Son works those hours, when the air is still and the grass is only just dry enough to cut without tearing. The list is honest lawn work — mowing, edging, trimming, feeding, aerating when the ground has gone tight — carried out on properties from the city streets to the places out at the edge of town. Nothing gets left half-finished; the blower comes out last and the walk gets cleared whether anyone is home to notice or not. By the time the morning is fully up, the yard is standing there in the sun looking sharp.
