Justin's Lawn Care

About Justin's Lawn Care

By midmorning in June, the light over Alamogordo has a white-hot edge, pouring down off the Sacramento Mountains and spreading across the Tularosa Basin toward the far pale dunes of White Sands. In a town whose very name means fat cottonwood, shade and green have always been worth the effort. Justin's Lawn Care keeps lawns here, where every square of grass is a choice someone made and a promise to look after it. Strong sun and hard spring gusts ask a lot of a yard, so the work is steady and attentive: the cut set right, the walk edged sharp, the clippings cleared away. Against the brown foothills, a lawn tended like that reads as a cool, deliberate green, and the whole street seems to settle.
