About Gonzalez Lawn Care

Alamogordo took its name from a fat cottonwood, and the old ones along the town's streets still throw the deepest shade in the basin. Gonzalez Lawn Care spends its Saturday mornings under them, the mower going, the trimmer chasing the ragged edges around trunks and hydrants, the walk blown clear at the end. Grass grown in that dappled light asks for a careful hand and a sharp blade, and a clean cut in the shade is as good to look at as one out in the open. Weekly mowing, edging, trimming, weed control and yard cleanups cover Alamogordo and out to La Luz.
