About Carnation Property Maintenance

By seven on a June morning the dew still lies silver on the lawns off Delaware Street, and the day has not yet decided how hot it intends to get. That is Carnation Property Maintenance's favorite hour to work, mowers running while the grass is cool, lines laid down straight, the string trimmer following fence lines and foundations. Woodbury's flat coastal-plain ground grows a thick, forgiving turf when somebody tends it on a schedule, and tending it on a schedule is the entire job. By the time the cicadas start up in the street trees, the yard is finished and the property looks like someone loves it. Small work, done weekly, is how a block keeps its good manners.
