Prickett's Lawn Care

About Prickett's Lawn Care

By September the marsh east of Woodbine turns the color of straw, and the light comes in low and gold from the Tuckahoe side of the county. Prickett's Lawn Care likes this stretch of the year best — the growth slows, a cut holds longer, and a lawn finally shows what all the summer mowing was for. The routine itself does not change: mowing on schedule, trimming tight to the foundation and the fence, edges recut so the driveway keeps its shape. Autumn is cleanup work, leaves and pine litter cleared off the turf before the wet weather packs them down. A yard put to bed properly comes back easier in the spring, and that is the point of the whole season.
