Wildwood is laid out plain and generous — numbered avenues running from the ocean back toward the bay, Pacific Avenue stitching them together — and Major League Lawn Care, LLC covers that grid twice a year over. In summer that means mowing on a tight rotation, edging the sidewalk seams, trimming around porch steps and fences on streets that fill up by ten in the morning. In winter it means the other job entirely: plowing the drives and lots, shoveling walks and clearing the salt-slush a shore storm leaves behind, because when snow does reach the island it arrives wet and heavy and all at once.
