Steiger's Lawn Care

About Steiger's Lawn Care

October on the island has a particular gold to it — the crowds gone, the light low and long across the lawns, privet hedges still holding the shape summer gave them. Steiger's Lawn Care works that whole arc in Wildwood Crest, cutting, edging and trimming through the growing season, then clearing leaves and cutting back before the first hard cold comes off the water. When winter lands, the work turns to snow: plowing driveways and lots, opening walkways, treating the ice that likes to linger on shaded north sides. Salt air is hard on everything out here, so tidiness is a form of maintenance in itself. A yard kept sharp in October is a yard that comes back easy in April.
