About ArborCare | Horticultural Services

Westfield is a town under trees, and by the third week of April the dogwoods along Kimball Avenue open all at once, white in the middle of the block. Growing a lawn beneath that canopy is its own small science — shade through the morning, root competition underfoot, thin patches where the light never quite lands. ArborCare | Horticultural Services works that ground: mowing at the height turf wants in shade, feeding it, opening the soil and overseeding where the grass has gone sparse, keeping beds and edges honest. The reward comes in May, when a yard reads as one continuous green from the porch to the property line. Everything grows well in this town if somebody tends it.
