About Full Cycle YDM

Out where West Orange backs up against South Mountain Reservation, deer wander across the lawns at first light and leave their prints pressed into the dew. Full Cycle YDM shows up after they have slipped back into the trees, and the name fits a year of lawn work in this town: the first April mow once the forsythia flares, the long rhythm of summer, the last cut of November when the oaks on the mountain have gone to bronze. This is the town where Thomas Edison kept his laboratory humming on Main Street, and something of that patient tinkering lives on in getting a driveway edge to run perfectly true. Clippings are swept from the walk, trim work is finished around the garden borders, and the yard settles back into the morning looking like it belongs to the house again. Season after season the circle closes, and the lawn is better for every lap.
