About Hudson Lawn Enforcement

Snow in West New York is a sidewalk problem before it is anything else: stoops, steps, hydrants, and the strip of walk in front of every door on the block. Hudson Lawn Enforcement is out early on those mornings, clearing walks and drives, breaking up ice at the curb cuts and salting ahead of the commute heading down toward the ferry. The warm months bring the other half of the work, mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups on the pocket yards and courtyards tucked behind the row houses. Both jobs come down to access and order in tight quarters, where there is no room to be sloppy. Clean pavement by seven, a level cut in July, the same standard in different weather.
