About Alex of All Trades

Monmouth County storms are never simple: the ocean sits twenty miles east, and the line between rain and snow likes to argue with itself somewhere over the Route 9 corridor. Alex of All Trades watches that line the way other people watch a clock, because a storm that flips over at two in the morning is the one that traps a driveway by six. Plowing, shoveling walks and steps, salting the slick apron at the curb — the work is simple and the timing is everything. Pulling away from a West Freehold house at first light with the drive clean, the mailbox reachable and the car free is the whole reward. Service runs across West Freehold, Freehold Borough, Manalapan, Marlboro and Howell.
