About R Ventola Landscaping

Three in the morning after a storm, the streets toward the Fairfield line go silent except for the scrape of a blade. R Ventola Landscaping is out in that hour, plowing lots and driveways and shoveling walks so West Caldwell can get where it is going by seven. In the warm months the hours are friendlier and the work is mowing, trimming and edging, holding lawns even through the humid stretch when grass grows overnight. The reward is the same either way — a surface returned to order, whether that is bare blacktop under a streetlight or a fresh cut catching the afternoon sun. Plain work, done on the days the weather chooses, for a town set between the Watchungs and the Passaic flats.
