Streamline Lawn & Landscape

About Streamline Lawn & Landscape

Watchung is a town built on a tilt, its houses stepping up the wooded slopes of the ridges the borough is named for, where ancient basalt shapes every hillside and hardly a yard sits truly flat. Mowing ground that leans takes patience, and Streamline Lawn & Landscape brings it, holding the cut level from the high corner of a property to the low one. In April, when Stony Brook runs full and the dogwoods along the hill roads start to open, the grass comes on fast and driveways want their first defined edge of the season. Trimming follows the retaining walls and the steps that rise to front doors, the small places a slope likes to hide. Down by Watchung Lake, near the circle, the borough looks like a postcard, and up on the ridge a newly mown lawn makes the same quiet argument for one house at a time.
