About Sun Viking Land Designs

October light comes in low and amber over Washington Township, slanting through the maples and laying long shadows across lawns that still have one good growing month left in them. Sun Viking Land Designs works through that golden stretch of the year, when cool nights wake the turf back up after the summer heat and a well-kept yard looks richer than it did all through August. The mower crosses each lawn in long parallel rows, the trimmer cleans up around beds and tree trunks, and fallen leaves are cleared away before they mat down and smother the grass. There is a bit of seafaring swagger in the name, and it suits work set down in lines as straight as a plotted course. By the time the clocks fall back, the lawns they tend head into winter neat, green and ready to rest.
