The old Morris Canal bed still runs through this corner of Warren County, a green line stitched past Port Colden and on toward Washington's crossroads. Hoffman's Landscaping works the town on either side of that line, mowing, trimming and edging through the warm months, then handling fall cleanups as the maples let go over Broad Street. Once the cold locks in, the trucks go over to plowing, shoveling and de-icing, and the day starts before anyone else's does. Snow in this valley can be wet and heavy one storm and dry and drifting the next, so the plan changes even when the finish does not. Clear pavement, tidy edges, and a town that can get where it is going.
