Landis Avenue was drawn a hundred feet wide by a man who believed a town should have room to breathe, and something of that generosity still shows in Vineland's yards. A&L Landscaping Services LLC keeps them in order — mower lines pulled long across the deep lots of East Vineland, edges cut sharp along sidewalk and drive, trimming worked in close where the machine cannot reach. Come January the job flips to plowing, shoveling and salting: a lot opened at four in the morning, a walkway scraped down to bare concrete, salt thrown before the melt has a chance to refreeze. Nothing dramatic about any of it — just a property that works on the day it has to. That is the whole idea.
