About KMM Tree and Lawn Service LLC

North of the village the land lets go of the hills and flattens toward Glenwood, where the Wallkill does the contrary thing of flowing north and the black dirt fields give off the day's heat well past supper. KMM Tree and Lawn Service LLC mows the properties along that low ground and up the lanes climbing out of it, taking an evening cut when August has been too hot for anything else. Grass in this corner of the township grows in bursts — one rainy week and it is over your ankles — so the work is steadiness: cut, trim the edges close, run the blower down the walk, come back before it gets away again. Autumn turns the same route into cleanup, the roadside maples letting go all at once while the lawn is still asking for light. It is repeated, unshowy work, and a yard carried that way through a whole season shows it plainly.
