About Birch Landscape & Design LLC

Some of Upper Saddle River's lines were drawn a century ago — low sandstone walls, hedgerows grown thick, lanes that bend around trees nobody wanted to lose. Birch Landscape & Design LLC mows and trims with those lines in mind, matching the cut to a wall's run and holding the border tight where turf meets old fieldstone. Spring here comes up through the shade first, so the season opens with cleanups: last year's leaf drift pulled off the beds, the lawn let back into the light. Then the summer routine, week after week, until the color comes in and it all runs the other way. And when the borough goes white, the same properties get plowed and salted, drive to door, so the shape of the place holds in every month of the year.
