About Simon J. Hamill Landscaping, LLC

Bellevue Avenue in October is a corridor of maples doing their loud, brief, spectacular thing, and behind the low stone walls the lawns fill with color faster than anyone can keep pace with. Simon J. Hamill Landscaping, LLC takes those weeks seriously: leaves off the turf before they mat and smother it, beds cut back, the season's final cuts taken clean. The houses along here wear slate and gable and fieldstone, and the planting wants to answer that — hedges squared, edges crisp against the walk, mulch dark and even in the beds. Summer runs on a mowing rhythm you could set a clock by. By late November the yards stand bare and orderly, which in its own quiet way looks finished.
