The Swimming River Reservoir sits at the edge of things like a held breath, flat and pewter in February, brimming with light by July, and a property behaves much the same way when somebody is thinking a year ahead. Diehl's Landscape Design plans Tinton Falls yards on that horizon: mowing, edging and trimming across the growing months, cleanups timed to what is actually falling, and a landscape shaped to look like something in every month of the twelve. Winter brings the other half, plowing the drive, opening the walks and treating ice on the same borders that were green in June. The design shows itself most on a bare morning, when the bones of a yard are all that remain and they still hold up. Service runs through town and out into the surrounding communities.
