Becker's Tree Service

About Becker's Tree Service

The falls that gave Tinton Falls its name still run over their rust-colored ledge, and the sycamores standing above them keep dropping bark and branches into the brook below. Becker's Tree Service works the ridges above the Swimming River and the shaded lanes off Sycamore Avenue, where old oaks reach over rooflines that were raised long after the trees were already tall. Removal is the last answer and sometimes the only one; more often the answer is a patient season of trimming that keeps a crown balanced and off the shingles. Come October, when a nor'easter shoulders in from the coast, they are out at first light pulling limbs off driveways from town back toward the Hockhockson lowlands. The payoff is a raked lawn, a stacked cord by the garage, and a homeowner who still makes it to work on time.
