About Harrill Landscaping & Maintenance

The name of the place is not decoration — the ground here tilts, and half the mowing gets done across a grade with the machine leaning and the operator reading the slope a step ahead. Harrill Landscaping & Maintenance takes that terrain as it comes, cutting the banks and the level ground alike, trimming the steep shoulders no mower will hold, keeping a defined border where lawn runs out into rough. Late afternoon is the hour that pays them back: the light goes long across the Somerset Hills and a freshly cut slope shows every pass like brushwork. Weekly maintenance through the growing months, cleanups at either end of them — the clearing in spring, the leaves in autumn. Grass on a hillside asks for more, and getting it even is worth the extra hour.
