About FLORES BROTHERS LANDSCAPING LLC

On a January night the wind comes up over the Palisades and finds every driveway on the ridge, and FLORES BROTHERS LANDSCAPING LLC is out in it before the plows have finished the county roads. They push driveways down to the pavement, shovel the steps and the walk to the door, and salt the places where meltwater will glaze over by morning, so the first person out at six meets bare blacktop instead of a guess. Come April the same trucks carry mowers, and Tenafly's long shaded lots get their weekly cut, their trimmed fence lines, their edges held true against the curb. Cleanups bracket the year — winter grit off in spring, the leaf fall taken down in November, which in this town is no small errand. Two trades, one crew, the same streets learned twice over. That is the whole idea: a yard someone can walk out into in any month without thinking about it.
