About Sorensen Landscape & Lawncare LLC

October takes the maples over Sussex all at once, and a week later there is more leaf than lawn on half the properties in town. Sorensen Landscape & Lawncare LLC works straight through it — clearing the leaves out of beds and fence corners, running the mowing right up until the grass finally stops, then cutting the last edges of the year sharp. In spring the order reverses: winter debris off first, then the opening cut that changes how a whole street looks. Between those two bookends it is mowing, trimming and edging on a steady rotation while the valley does its growing. A yard raked clean under bare oaks in November has a stillness to it that is worth the long days.
