The Lawn Whisperer

About The Lawn Whisperer

Before any mower starts, the hilltop is still — dew heavy enough to darken your boots, robins working the wet grass, the town not yet up. The Lawn Whisperer pays attention in that hour: where a lawn thins under the maples, where it stays damp too long, how tall to leave it so it can take the next hot week. Then comes the work itself, mowing on a rhythm, trimming the corners, edging the walk, clearing the beds as the season turns. Grass answers to attention more than to anything else you can give it. The right cut on the right day, and the whole yard says so from the curb.
