About Country Acres Landscaping LLC

River fog sits on the Delaware most mornings in Stockton, and by the time it lifts off the towpath the sycamores along the canal are already shedding their bark in pale curls. Country Acres Landscaping LLC keeps lawns in this narrow strip of Hunterdon County — the yards off Bridge Street, the properties up along the Wickecheoke, the grass that runs right up to old stone. Mowing here means working around older walls and much older trees, and the reward is a lawn that looks like it belongs to the landscape rather than imposed on it. Spring brings the cleanup, summer brings the rhythm of the weekly cut, and autumn brings a great deal of leaf. Stockton is small enough that every yard is visible to everybody, which is a fine reason to finish each one properly.
