Old stone walls run through the woods all around Stanhope, and plenty of them end up somewhere in the middle of somebody's back lawn. By mid-July the highlands have gone deep green, the oaks throw long shade across half the yard, and the grass grows in two speeds at once. Green Life Lawn Services LLC works with that instead of against it — mowing at a height the shade can live with, trimming close along walls and boulders, edging the drive so the whole thing reads deliberate. Thunder builds over the ridge most summer afternoons up here, so the day starts early and the cleanup gets done before the sky opens. The reward is a hillside yard that looks calm, which on this ground is not a small thing.
