Route 72 leaves Stafford Township heading east, and on a clear morning the causeway lifts out of the marsh with the water going silver on both sides. Alpha's Landscaping LLC works the mainland side of that view, mowing and edging yards where the lawns end in cordgrass and the wind carries salt inland. Summer here asks for patience — sandy ground, long light, grass that keeps its own schedule. Winter asks for something else entirely, and the plow goes out while the bay is still black, so a driveway is open before anyone has to think about it. The pride is in the small proof: a clean line along a walk, a cleared apron at the curb, a yard that looks cared for from the road.
