Dittmer's Landscaping & Nursery

About Dittmer's Landscaping & Nursery

Springfield still tells the story of June 1780, when militia met the redcoats along the Rahway River, and that river still runs through town, quieter now, past backyards and parkland. Dittmer's Landscaping & Nursery brings a grower's patience to the lawns along its banks, the way a landscaping and nursery business keeps its eye on whatever is coming up out of the ground. Spring here means the first soft flush of grass once the frost lets go, and the fresh mowing lines that follow it. Each visit ends with even passes, trimmed borders and a walkway edge you could rule a line against. It is steady, rooted work for a town with a long memory.
