About Landscaping

The name on the truck is just Landscaping, which in Springdale is honest enough: grass grows, somebody cuts it, and the street is better for it. The work is mowing, trimming and edging, week in and week out, on lawns laid out flat across easy South Jersey ground. Late in the day the western sky over the township carries the faint glow of Philadelphia, and the last yard of the afternoon gets the same attention the first one did. A clean edge along a driveway is a small thing that an entire property leans on. Plain name, particular work.
