The old rail line through Sparta Junction is a walking trail now, and in late October it runs gold and then bare inside a week. The Cutting Edge Landscaping works both sides of that turn in the year, mowing, trimming, edging and clearing up while the ground is still soft, then plowing, shoveling and salting once the highlands lock. Around White Deer Plaza and the lake roads the driveways pitch steeply and the shoulders are stone, which asks for a careful blade and a plan for where the snow is going to go. Doing both jobs means knowing a property in two states, including exactly where the lawn edge lies so it is still there in April. Clean lines in summer, clear pavement in winter, and the same eye behind each of them.
